Nutritional Therapy is about personal advice to fit each client’s goals and lifestyle.
Are you someone who sprouts beans or are you best handling a tin opener?
The skill of the therapist is showing clients exactly how they can make changes to their diet and lifestyle eg:
- what to eat for breakfast,
- healthy, family-friendly dinners
- food shopping that fits into your routine
- nutritious packed lunches
- healthy fast food
Dietary Analysis
What are you really eating?
My advice is supported by dietary analysis from The Food Calculator. Based on diet diaries, this programme analyses macronutrients including protein, carbohydrate, fats, vitamins and minerals. This information provides a useful tool to build a healthy eating programme, and is presented in a report for the client to keep.
Sports Nutrition
Nutrition is recognised as a vital component of sports performance. As an experienced sportswoman and triathlete trained in Nutritional Therapy, I can advise on nutrition to support sports performance.
Do you know what an ‘isotonic’ sports drink is?
What nutrients do you need to aid muscle recovery?
How can you achieve weight loss whilst training?
Sports Clubs
A range of sports nutrition workshops, talks and presentations are available.
Please contact me for further information.
Health/functional tests
A range of tests are available, together with interpretation of results.
Tests include:

- digestive function
- heavy metal toxicity
- hair mineral analysis
- food intolerance/sensitivity
- food allergy

Do you ever experience a post-lunch slump?
Nutrition and lifestyle can affect performance at work through energy levels, fatigue and blood-glucose.
Poor diet can also contribute to illness and long-term health issues.
