Who isn’t interested in food? Not only is it essential for life, whether shared or eaten alone, it can be a source of great enjoyment. But there’s more. When a close family member was diagnosed with cancer, the Consultant suggested they consult a Nutritionist. This brought home to me the links between food and health and inspired me to find out more, ultimately leading to my qualification as a Nutritional Therapist.

As a therapist, I introduce clients to personal nutrition plans that fit each individual’s lifestyle, using foods they enjoy. Healthy eating can be a delicious and energising experience, a world away from the misery of deprivation diets.

I use specialist Dietary Analysis software which provides a breakdown of clients’ intake of food nutrients, vitamins and minerals. The report also gives summary nutritional information, enabling clients to understand how their diet affects health. These reports provide a powerful motivational tool.

Combined with my interest in food, I have a lifelong interest in sport. The right diet can boost energy, influence injury, recovery and race-day performance. I am an experienced triathlete and former athlete (honours include age-group & veteran titles at various triathlons and road running events). I am also Chair of Ipswich Triathlon Club.
